We’ll have the water running in no time!
A clogged sewer or drain back-up can be stressful (and sometimes stinky) problem. It’s also no joke. A clogged drain can cause health problems for you and your family, and in some cases, it can also cause property damage. It may not seem urgent now – you may be under the impression that you just live with a slow drain – but over time the problem will only get worse.
DO YOU NEED CABLING OR SNAKING?
Cabling or snaking a drain might be the first line of defense against a blocked sink. A long, flexible metal coil can be inserted into drain pipes and spun at high speeds to remove obstructions like hair and other debris. Some folks think you can snake any drain, toilet, shower, whatever. This is not so. Best to call a pro and get it done right the first time. It’ll save money in the long run. At Thompson & Thompson, we know all the different techniques needed to tackle different drains. We can snake:
● Washing Machine Drains
● Kitchen Drains
● Main Line Drains
● And more…
It’s important to remember, snaking a drain by yourself can be dangerous. It’s always better to call a licensed plumber who can assess and diagnose with precision, accuracy and safety.
WHAT IS HYDROJETTING?
Hydrojetting is the process of shooting a high-pressure stream of water at 4-18 gallons per minute into pipes to clear build up of any kind. Hydrojetting removes harder to budge debris (including roots from trees) that a typical snake cannot and essentially pressure washing the inside of your pipe. Hydrojetting can clean longer sections of pipe compared to regular snaking and the technique is powerful enough to dislodge any material without toxic chemicals that harm the environment of Georgia.
DON’T WAIT IF YOU HAVE A SLOW DRAIN
A slow drain left untreated will only get worse. The old plumber’s saying goes “Just because it goes down the drain doesn’t mean it’s gone”, and it’s true. Your pipes can jam up and hold a lot of debris that can slow your water flow terribly.
Store bought chemical solutions don’t work and they are horrible for the environment. Even worse, they can cause noxious fumes or even an explosion.
